Two people were killed after a Jeep and a Lexus collided outside Visalia in Tulare County on Saturday morning, October 4, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded around 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue 320 and Road 132.
The Lexus, a 2007 sedan, was stopped in the eastbound lane of Avenue 320 at a posted stop sign when a southbound Jeep Wrangler traveling on Road 132 entered the intersection.
For an undetermined reason, the Lexus driver failed to yield, and the front of the Jeep struck the driver’s side of the Lexus, causing major damage.
The driver of the Lexus was pronounced dead at the scene, and the sole passenger was transported to a local hospital, where they later died. The Jeep driver sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital; their current condition is unknown.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
