Multiple people suffered minor injuries in a 15-vehicle crash on Highway 152 near Chowchilla in Madera County on Monday morning, October 5, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded at around 7:00 a.m. to Highway 152 near Road 12 following reports of multiple collisions.
CHP investigators said blowing dust had reduced visibility in the area and contributed to the crashes involving 15 vehicles.
Authorities reported that all injuries were minor. Those injured were treated at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
