A 6-month-old baby and a 75-year-old man were slightly injured after being struck by a car at the corner of San Pablo Avenue and Victoria Crescent East in Hercules on Monday morning, October 6, 2025.
According to police, the crash occurred around 8:20 a.m. The vehicle was driven by a 23-year-old man who told officers he was blinded by the sun while turning and did not see the pedestrians in the crosswalk. A standard sobriety test suggested he was not under the influence.
The baby suffered minor facial cuts, and the man complained of shoulder pain. Both were transported by ambulance to a hospital for treatment and were reported to be okay.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.

What A Lawyer Can Do For You
Many victims put off calling a lawyer even if they sustain injuries after an accident. However, lawyers can help you in many ways. They can provide you with police reports, CCTV footage, and witness statements to strengthen your case. Your attorney will also negotiate with insurance companies to get you fair compensation. The best part is that they will do all of these things for you at no upfront cost. So if you’re injured in an accident, hire a personal injury attorney to recover medical bills, car repair costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
