A 23-year-old man, identified as Alex G. of Jurupa Valley, was tragically struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Friday night, October 11, 2024.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported that deputies responded to reports of a vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident around 8:30 p.m. near Mission Boulevard and Pyrite Street.
Upon arrival, deputies found the victim lying in the roadway with “obvious signs of death.” Alex G. was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released suspect information, and the investigation remains ongoing.
