A pedestrian was fatally struck by a pickup truck on Hesperia Road early Friday morning, October 11, 2024.
The collision occurred at about 4:13 a.m. near Eucalyptus Street.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez stated that preliminary information indicates the pedestrian was walking in the traffic lane when they were struck by a Nissan pickup truck.
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene, while the pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
