Three people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Arden-Arcade, Sacramento County, on Saturday night, October 12, 2024.
According to Sacramento Metro Fire officials, the incident occurred at approximately 7:35 p.m. at the intersection of Alta Arden Expressway and Bell Street.
Of the three individuals transported to the hospital, two are reported to be in critical condition, while one sustained minor injuries. Firefighters noted that an extrication process was necessary due to the severity of the collision.
California Highway Patrol stated that the crash involved a silver SUV and a black sedan. The SUV was occupied by a female driver and an unidentified passenger, while two females were traveling in the sedan.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
