One person sustained minor injuries in a multi-vehicle collision on the southbound I-15 freeway in Victorville on Monday afternoon, October 14, 2024.
The incident, which occurred around 12:48 p.m. just south of Bear Valley Road, involved 5-6 vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, according to the Victorville City Fire Department.
While only one injury was reported, the collision caused a major traffic backup as multiple lanes were blocked.
Mariposa and Amargosa Roads became congested as motorists sought alternate routes. Three tow trucks were dispatched to clear damaged vehicles.
The California Highway Patrol Victorville Station is investigating the cause of the collision.
