A fatal collision involving a motorcycle and at least one other vehicle shut down eastbound Interstate 780 in Vallejo on Wednesday morning, October 14, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 7:30 a.m. near Glen Cove Road.
All eastbound lanes were closed, and traffic was diverted off the freeway onto Glen Cove Road.
The lanes reopened by 8:40 a.m. Motorists were advised to expect lingering delays and use alternate routes.
Additional information about the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash was not immediately available.
