[10-16-2026] Riverside County, CA – Two Seriously Injured After Crash in Indio

Two people sustained major injuries and were airlifted to a hospital following a crash in Indio on Friday afternoon, October 16, 2026.

The collision was reported shortly after 12:50 p.m. at Dillon Road and Happy Valley Road.

According to CAL FIRE, responding firefighters extricated two people from one vehicle. Both patients were transported by air ambulance to an area hospital with major injuries.
