A 12-year-old girl was injured after being struck by a vehicle while riding her bicycle to school near Olive and Millbrook in central Fresno on Wednesday morning, October 20, 2025.
According to authorities, the crash occurred before 8 a.m. Police said a tire went over the girl after she was hit, and nearby good Samaritans used a jack to lift the vehicle and free her.
The girl sustained bruises but was able to stand and talk after the crash. She was transported to Community Regional Medical Center as a precaution and is expected to recover.
Police said the driver of the SUV remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
