One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on the northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway just south of Jeffrey Road in Irvine on Monday, October 27, 2025
According to the California Highway Patrol, all northbound lanes were closed following the collision, and traffic was backed up to the SR-133 split as emergency crews responded to the scene.
Authorities have not released additional details about the number of vehicles involved or the cause of the crash.
