A skateboarder was killed after being hit by multiple vehicles on Westside Parkway in Bakersfield on Halloween night, October 31, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to reports around 6:40 p.m. of a skateboarder down in the westbound lanes near Allen Road.
Medical personnel on the scene pronounced the individual deceased. CHP officers closed three westbound lanes temporarily as they conducted their investigation into the incident.
