A 65-year-old woman was fatally injured after being struck by a vehicle in Huntington Beach on Saturday night, October 31, 2026.
According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the crash was reported shortly before 10:00 p.m. at Edinger Avenue and Springdale Street.
Police determined that a silver Toyota 4Runner was traveling eastbound on Edinger Avenue when it struck the woman as she crossed southbound.
The Huntington Beach resident was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver, a 25-year-old Midway City man, stopped at the scene. Officers did not believe he was impaired.
The HBPD Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team continues to investigate the incident.
