A man and woman were killed after being ejected from their motorcycle on US-101 south of Main Street in Humboldt County on Sunday afternoon, November 10, 2024.
The incident occurred around 12:03 p.m. when the 2007 Harley Davidson, traveling northbound with a group of motorcyclists, lost control for unknown reasons. Both riders were ejected from the motorcycle.
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene, but the male driver was pronounced dead due to the severity of his injuries. The female passenger, who sustained major injuries, was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka but later succumbed to her injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation.
