One person was injured in a collision involving a big rig and a compact car south of Calipatria on Monday morning, November 11, 2024.
According to the authorities, the crash was reported at around 6:41 a.m. on Highway 111, near Yocum Road.
The driver of the compact car had to be extricated from the vehicle and suffered a back injury. The driver was transported to Pioneers Memorial Hospital for treatment.
