A skateboarder died after being struck by a car in West Sacramento on Tuesday evening, November 12, 2024.
According to the West Sacramento Police Department, officers were dispatched to the area of Tower Bridge Gateway and 5th Street at approximately 7:00 p.m. in response to the collision.
The skateboarder was pronounced dead at the scene. Police reported that the driver remained at the scene and fully cooperated with the investigation.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by authorities.
