Two people were killed, and several others were injured after a three-vehicle crash on westbound Highway 58 in the Tehachapi area on Friday morning, November 15, 2024.
The crash occurred near Sand Canyon at approximately 8:02 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Kern County fire officials reported two individuals were injured with minor to moderate injuries. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and heavy rain and snow were reported in the area at the time.
