Two people sustained injuries after a two-vehicle collision in Palm Desert on Monday evening, November 18, 2024.
Deputies reported that the crash occurred just before 8:30 p.m. at Fred Waring Drive and Washington Street.
Upon arrival, they found the driver of one vehicle suffering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while a passenger in the second vehicle also sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Both individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A juvenile passenger in the second vehicle, though uninjured, was transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
