One person was hospitalized with head injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Palm Springs on Tuesday morning, November 19, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 10 near mile marker 37.
Authorities stated that the collision involved a Ford truck and another vehicle. The Ford truck veered off the road, landing in a ditch on its wheels approximately 100 feet from the highway.
Emergency personnel transported one individual to a nearby hospital for treatment. It is unclear whether the injured person was in the truck or the second vehicle.
CHP officers continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
