Six people, including two children, were injured after a multi-vehicle collision on Mather Boulevard near Arnold Way in Sacramento County on Thursday afternoon, November 20, 2025.
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, crews responded around 5:00 p.m. and declared a mass casualty incident due to the number of individuals involved.
Officials said two people sustained moderate injuries while four others had minor injuries. All six were transported to a nearby hospital.
Authorities stated that it was not yet clear what had led to the crash. The California Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
