Two drivers were injured after a collision involving a Toyota Prius and a Lexus LS 460 on Baseline Road west of Watt Avenue in Placer County on Sunday morning, November 23, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. for unknown reasons.
CHP said each vehicle had only one occupant, and both drivers suffered suspected major injuries. Passersby assisted the motorists out of their vehicles before emergency crews arrived. Authorities reported that both drivers were transported to a hospital.
CHP said DUI was not suspected. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
