[11-23-2025] Motorcyclist Killed After Collision at Patterson Road and Snedigar Road East of Riverbank High SchoolA 72-year-old Modesto man was killed after his motorcycle was struck by a pickup at Patterson Road and Snedigar Road east of Riverbank High School in Stanislaus County on Sunday afternoon, November 23, 2025.

According to Sgt. Michael Carranza of the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was reported around 3:25 p.m. 

The motorcyclist, identified by the Coroner’s Office as Gary S., had been stopped at a stop sign on Snedigar Road before entering the intersection. Gary was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he proceeded forward and was struck by a westbound Ford F-150 traveling on Patterson Road. Fire crews and AMR medics performed CPR at the scene, but Stevenson died from his injuries.

Authorities stated that the pickup driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Drugs and alcohol did not appear to be factors, though toxicology testing is pending. Carranza said that contributing factors, such as speed and visibility, remained under review.

The investigation is ongoing.
