[11-24-2025] 74-Year-Old Woman Injured After Hit-and-Run Involving Nissan Rogue in West OaklandA 74-year-old woman was injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver near her home in West Oakland on Monday afternoon, November 24, 2025.

According to the family, the collision happened around 3:30 p.m. as Rasheedah M. was walking from her home to a bus stop when a champagne-colored Nissan Rogue struck her. 

Surveillance video released by the family captured the moment the vehicle hit her before fleeing the scene. Rasheedah said she never saw the vehicle and lost consciousness. She was hospitalized for three days, during which doctors treated bleeding in her brain and injuries to her left shoulder and arm. She was released from the hospital on the eve of Thanksgiving.

Family members stated that Oakland police responded to the scene, but they have not received any follow-up communication from investigators. They are asking for the driver to be identified and are urging anyone who recognizes the vehicle to contact law enforcement.

The investigation is ongoing.
