[11-29-2024] Six Injured After DUI Hit-And-Run Crash in VictorvilleA 23-year-old man was arrested for DUI and hit-and-run after a three-vehicle crash injured six people in Victorville on Friday afternoon, November 29, 2024.

The collision happened around 2:25 p.m. at the intersection of Del Gado Road and Dos Palmas. The crash involved a blue Ford X-Max, a white Toyota Corolla, and a black Kia Telluride.

Emergency personnel responded and transported six individuals with minor injuries to a nearby hospital. According to witnesses, the driver of the Ford fled the scene on foot after the crash and was picked up by another vehicle, leaving his injured passenger trapped inside the overturned Ford. 

After the Ford was overturned, authorities discovered multiple bottles of beer underneath the vehicle. 

Law enforcement detained the suspect near the intersection of Luna and Cahuenga Roads. The driver, identified as Saai M., a resident of Victorville, was arrested and charged with hit-and-run causing injury, DUI causing great bodily injury, and driving on a suspended license. He is currently held on $310,000 bail and is scheduled for a court hearing on December 3, 2024.
