A man walking in the area of Beach Boulevard and 21st Street in Westminster was fatally struck by a motor vehicle on Saturday night, November 29, 2025.
According to Commander Andy Stowers of the APD, the incident was reported around 9:05 p.m.
Responding officers found the man on the ground, barely breathing. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities stated that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers. Impairment, such as alcohol or drugs, did not appear to be a factor.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
