A two-vehicle collision involving a box truck that overturned caused significant traffic delays on Interstate 15 North near Bear Valley Road in Hesperia on Tuesday afternoon, December 3, 2024.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:53 p.m., with the truck partially landing in the parking lot of Range RV, situated between the 15 Freeway and Mariposa Road. A silver KIA was also involved in the incident.
A third driver reportedly cut off the silver KIA, causing it to swerve into the path of the oncoming box truck. Both drivers involved in the collision sustained no major injuries. The driver who cut off the KIA briefly stayed at the scene to ensure everyone was unharmed before leaving, the witness reported.
It is unclear if the California Highway Patrol is actively searching for the third vehicle. The Victorville CHP office is investigating the cause of the collision.
