A 56-year-old pedestrian identified as Michael M. of Menifee was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Temecula on Sunday night, December 7, 2025.
According to the Riverside Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded at 6:59 p.m. to the area of Jefferson Avenue and Via Montezuma for a report of a major-injury collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Deputies and medical personnel attempted life-saving measures, but Michael died at the scene. The driver was interviewed by deputies, and no arrests were made.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
