A motorcyclist sustained injuries in a collision involving a U-Haul truck on the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 in Cajon Pass in San Bernardino County on Friday afternoon, December 13, 2024.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m., just north of the 215 interchange. The collision blocked the second and third lanes of the freeway.
A passenger in a gray Honda Civic called dispatch, stating that the motorcycle struck the car’s mirror before going down. The U-Haul truck came to a stop along the right-hand shoulder while the Honda was positioned in the center divider.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
