Five people sustained minor injuries following a five-vehicle collision on eastbound Interstate 8 just west of Dunaway Road in Imperial County on Sunday afternoon, December 14, 2025.
According to authorities, the crash was reported shortly after noon. One vehicle came to rest in the center divider, while another rolled over and landed on the shoulder of the freeway.
The California Highway Patrol, Imperial County Fire Department, and AMR Ambulance responded to the scene. Officials said five individuals reported minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
