A two-vehicle collision in Ontario left several individuals injured, with one vehicle catching fire and another trapping a person inside early Wednesday morning, December 25, 2024,
The crash occurred just after 4:00 a.m. at the intersection of South Mountain Avenue and West Philadelphia Street.
Ontario police officers and firefighters arrived at the scene to find one vehicle on the sidewalk with a person trapped inside and another vehicle on fire.
Emergency responders transported three to four individuals to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries remains unknown. Firefighters successfully extinguished the vehicle fire, and crews worked to extricate the trapped individual.
