A motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries in a collision involving a vehicle and cable communication boxes in Menifee on Tuesday evening, December 31, 2024.
The Menifee Police Department reported that the crash occurred shortly before 5:00 p.m. near Newport Road and Lone Pine Drive.
The 20-year-old male rider of a Honda CBR600 was ejected from his motorcycle and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Two occupants of a Toyota Rav4 involved in the collision sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were also Menifee residents.
Authorities stated that alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash. The cause remains under investigation.
