Three cars were involved in an accident in front of Reese Elementary School on West Elm Street in San Joaquin County, just as students were leaving campus on Thursday afternoon, January 22, 2026.
The collision occurred around 2:30 p.m., and the Lodi Fire Department responded to the scene.
Authorities reported that a white sedan, traveling east on Elm Street at a high speed, struck two vehicles parked in front of the school. The sedan became wedged under the tailgate of a pickup truck.
An adult and a child, both suffering facial injuries, were transported to San Joaquin General Hospital for treatment.
Six officers from the Lodi Police Department, along with three Lodi Fire Department trucks and three ambulances, responded to the scene.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
