A traffic collision involving multiple vehicles prompted an emergency response on northbound Interstate 15 in Fallbrook, San Diego County, on Tuesday evening, February 10, 2026.
The incident was reported at around 5:19 p.m. south of Mission Road. California Highway Patrol dispatch logs indicated the crash involved a black Tesla SUV and a gray Nissan SUV. Initial reports suggested a possible third vehicle may have been involved.
Units from the North County Fire Protection District, including Engine 114, Engine 115, and Medic 114, responded to the scene. Emergency crews located the vehicles on the left-hand shoulder of the freeway.
Fire personnel confirmed the presence of one occupant inside the black Tesla SUV. Shortly after arriving, Engine 114 canceled the additional fire engine and medic unit.
CHP reported that the vehicles were close together on the shoulder and did not block traffic lanes. The incident was marked as closed by fire dispatch at 5:36 p.m., just 16 minutes after the initial call.
The crash remains under investigation.
