A Dodge Ram pickup truck rear-ended an 18-wheeler on the southbound Interstate 15 north of Main Street in Victorville on Monday morning, February 16, 2026.
According to California Highway Patrol traffic logs, the collision occurred in the No. 3 lane at around 9:14 a.m.
The driver of the pickup was found bleeding from the mouth and trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters responded and confirmed that the driver had exited the truck and declined medical transport.
The Dodge Ram sustained major front-end damage, including a crumpled hood and crushed grille, while the big rig appeared to have only minor damage to its rear.
The big rig driver remained at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Victorville CHP station.
