A woman was arrested after allegedly hitting multiple cars and injuring a driver in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday afternoon, February 25, 2026.
According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, officers were called to a hit-and-run incident around 3:40 p.m. near California Boulevard and Monterey Street.
The suspect vehicle, a sedan, struck a car and fled the scene. While officers were responding, two additional reports came in of the same vehicle hitting other cars at San Luis Drive and Johnson Avenue, and Foothill Boulevard and Santa Rosa Street, with the driver fleeing both locations.
One of the drivers involved was injured and sought treatment at a local hospital.
The sedan, driven by 36-year-old Rovasha U., was located later at San Miguel Taqueria on Santa Rosa Street.
The car had a flat tire, and several empty alcohol bottles were found in the backseat, along with drug paraphernalia.
Rovasha U. was arrested on suspicion of DUI, three felony counts of hit-and-run, and misdemeanor possession of narcotics paraphernalia. She also faces additional charges after kicking and spitting at officers during the arrest.
