A 60-year-old woman was killed in a collision between two bicyclists on a greenbelt bike path in Davis, Yolo County, on Monday afternoon, March 2, 2026.
According to the Davis Police Department, the crash occurred near Covell Boulevard and Catalina Drive. Investigators blocked off the area with police tape as they worked the scene.
Lt. Jon Evans of the Davis Police Department confirmed that the collision involved two bicyclists on a bike path in the greenbelt.
The woman, identified as Julie V., was pronounced dead at the scene. The other rider, a 16-year-old boy riding an electric bicycle, was treated for minor injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to gather more information.
