[03-07-2026] Fresno County, CA – Driver Flees After Two-Vehicle Collision on Ashlan Ave.

A two-vehicle collision occurred when a Dodge van and a Chevrolet SUV collided on Ashlan Avenue in Fresno on Saturday morning, March 7, 2026.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the crash happened at 11:19 a.m. when the Dodge van changed lanes and struck the Chevrolet SUV while both vehicles were traveling eastbound from Cornelia.

After the collision, a verbal confrontation occurred between the two drivers. The driver of the Dodge van then fled the scene, turning southbound onto Brawley Avenue.

Police reported that no injuries were sustained in the incident. Officers later identified the driver of the Dodge van and issued citations for misdemeanor hit-and-run and driving with a suspended license.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
