A 67-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Folsom on Monday afternoon, April 1, 2024.
According to the Folsom Police Department, the collision happened around 5:00 p.m. east Bidwell Street, between Orchard and Montrose drives.
Authorities stated that the pedestrian, identified only as a man, was hit by a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police confirmed that the crash was not a hit-and-run as the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
