One driver was killed, and two others were critically injured in a three-vehicle crash in Lake Elsinore on Sunday night, March 15, 2026.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the crash was reported at 9:33 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 74 and Trellis Lane, east of Interstate 15.
Deputies arrived to find all three drivers suffering from major injuries. The victims were transported to local hospitals in critical condition.
One driver later succumbed to their injuries. The identity of the deceased has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station.
