An 18-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle on Interstate 805 near Eastgate Mall in University City, San Diego, on Thursday afternoon, March 19, 2026.
According to the county Medical Examiner’s Office, Alexander C. of Apache Junction, Arizona, was riding southbound on the freeway when he collided with a car around 4:30 p.m.
Paramedics transported the rider to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing, and no further details about the crash or the other vehicle involved have been released.
