Two people were killed after their vehicle overturned multiple times and caught fire at the El Mirage Dry Lake Bed in San Bernardino County, on Saturday evening, March 28, 2026.
According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the crash occurred around 7:27 p.m. near Bella Vista, west of Mountain View Road.
Fire personnel arrived at the scene at 7:48 p.m. to find the vehicle fully engulfed in flames and quickly extinguished the fire.
Both occupants of the vehicle were ejected during the crash and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
No additional information about the victims has been released. The investigation is being handled by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Station.
