[04-03-2026] Plumas County, CA – Hit-and-Run Crash at Graeagle Post Office Injures One.webpA hit-and-run crash occurred at the Graeagle Post Office in Plumas County on April 3, 2026, injuring one occupant inside the building.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a white male adult driving an older model white Toyota Sequoia, with aftermarket chrome rims and an unknown California license plate, collided with the post office building at around 4:30 p.m. 

The impact caused minor injuries to an occupant inside the building. Following the collision, the driver fled the scene without stopping to provide identification or render aid.

The suspect vehicle was last seen traveling northbound on State Route 89 toward State Route 70. CHP said the vehicle likely sustained front-end damage from the collision.
