Two people were injured when a sport utility vehicle crashed into the front of a storefront in Huntington Beach on Wednesday afternoon, April 8, 2026.
According to the Huntington Beach Fire Department, the crash occurred in the 7000 block of Edinger Avenue, near Gothard Street and Golden West College.
The impact caused significant structural and glass damage to the building. Fire crews secured the scene, assessed the building for damage, and provided assistance to those involved.
Two individuals were evaluated for injuries but refused medical treatment against advice.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
