A 27-year-old woman was arrested for DUI after crashing into a building in Yuba City, Sutter County, and attempting to flee the scene on foot early Wednesday morning, April 22, 2026.
According to the Yuba City Police Department, officers responded to reports of a vehicle crash at B Street and Clark Avenue.
Upon arrival, they found the driver had fled on foot but was quickly located with assistance from a Sutter County Sheriff’s Deputy.
The driver, identified as Petra C. of Olivehurst, was found to be intoxicated. She was arrested for DUI.
Authorities have not confirmed if there were any passengers in the vehicle or occupants in the building at the time of the crash.
This investigation remains ongoing.
