A woman in her 70s was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash on Main Street in Watsonville, Santa Cruz County, on Sunday afternoon, April 26, 2026.
According to Watsonville police, the crash occurred around 3:12 p.m. near 300 Main St., by City Plaza, and involved five vehicles.
Police said the woman, driving a Toyota Camry, rear-ended a lifted Chevy 1500, which then hit another vehicle. The Camry then struck two parked cars.
The driver of the Camry was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries and is expected to recover.
The driver of the Chevy 1500 fled the scene but was located Monday morning and cited for leaving the scene of an accident. No other injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
