A female passenger died after being ejected from a vehicle involved in a crash on Valley Hi Drive in Sacramento on Wednesday afternoon, April 29, 2026.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the crash occurred around 1:15 p.m. in the 5600 block of Valley Hi Drive, near Prairie Elementary School. The vehicle struck a parked car, ejecting the passenger.
The injured passenger was transported to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release her name and age once her family has been notified.
The Sacramento Police Department’s major collision investigators are handling the case, collecting evidence, and speaking with witnesses. The incident is still under investigation.
