Several people were injured following a two-vehicle crash in Manteca, San Joaquin County, on Saturday afternoon, May 9, 2026.
According to the Manteca Police Department, the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Yosemite Avenue and Swanson Road.
Authorities reported that a westbound vehicle turned in front of an eastbound vehicle, resulting in the crash.
The driver of the westbound vehicle, a 44-year-old resident of Lathrop, was found unconscious in the back seat following the collision. The extent of the driver’s injuries was not immediately known.
A 60-year-old Manteca resident was ejected from the westbound vehicle and sustained multiple injuries. The driver of the eastbound vehicle, identified as a 36-year-old Tracy resident, suffered minor injuries.
All injured parties were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation remains ongoing.
