[05-09-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on West Baseline St.

A pedestrian was killed following a hit-and-run collision in San Bernardino early Saturday morning, May 9, 2026.

According to the San Bernardino Police Department, officers responded around 12:05 a.m. to West Baseline Street west of University Parkway.

Emergency responders found a person at the scene who was later pronounced dead. Officials said that the driver involved fled the scene and has not yet been identified. 

Police are continuing to pursue leads and are asking witnesses to come forward with information related to the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
