Two people were killed following a two-vehicle DUI crash in Colusa County on Friday, May 8, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on Highway 20 near King Road outside of Williams.
CHP stated that one of the drivers involved was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and gross vehicular manslaughter.
The roadway remained closed for approximately five hours while investigators examined the scene and crews cleared the damaged vehicles.
Additional details regarding the identities of the victims have not yet been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
