Two children were critically injured following a single-vehicle crash in Stockton on Monday afternoon, June 8, 2026.
According to the Stockton Police Department, the collision occurred before 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Morada Lane and Cherbourg Way when a vehicle struck a tree.
Authorities stated that the driver, a 28-year-old woman, and three passengers—identified as a 6-year-old boy, a 2-year-old boy, and a 1-year-old girl—were taken to a hospital.
The woman and the 2-year-old sustained minor injuries, while the 6-year-old and the 1-year-old were reported in critical condition.
Officials continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
